The Palm Current Mitts are a true blast from the past, these were more well known as kayak pogies. These kayaking pogies attach to your paddle shaft and you simply push your hands in and they are then protected from the wind and rain

Palm has designed the Current Mitt to be an evolution of the ever popular kayak pogies. These great paddle mitts are easy to use as they simply attach to your paddle shaft. The current mitts features a full nylon construction which gives great protection from the wind and rain. They also feature a full fleece liner on the top side and a partial fleece liner on the lower side. (more advanced than what was available in the 1990’s!) Around the wrist, there is then a drawstring which helps to give a good snug secure fit. Around the front curve of the kayaking pogies is a reflective detailing strip for enhanced nigh time visibility.
